Top 8 Instagram Photos
I couldn’t resist sharing my Top 8 Instagram Photos from my US West Coast Adventure! I must admit Instagram is definitely one of my favourite social media platforms, where you can showcase places you’ve found, animals you love and memories you want to share. My US West Coast Adventure took me from San Diego to Santa Barbara, San Francisco to Portland and then lastly Seattle – and the following were the most liked photos on my Instagram!
8. A San Diego sunset
I fell in love with San Diego’s sunsets! Just a short walk across the street from my hotel was this colourful bench. I remember sitting there the first night, and watching the sun set over the water. It was incredible! And this photo is proof of its beauty, unedited!
7. Bird of Paradise
Colour always excites me, especially when it’s in nature! And the bird of paradise flower really wowed me! I found them all over San Diego, and this is only one of many photos I took. How can you not want to capture that brilliant beauty?!
6. Portland’s Japanese Garden
All along the West Coast I visited Japanese Gardens. And Portland’s really stood out with its varying colours and Zen atmosphere!
5. Mike the giraffe from Santa Barbara Zoo
I visited a bunch of great zoos as I travelled up the US West Coast. And I certainly met quite a few remarkable animals. This fella here, Mike from the Santa Barbara Zoo was so gentle, curious and of course, photogenic!
4. California landscape
I was blown away by California and its diverse landscapes. From deserts to rich, lush forests and beaches to mountains, California really surprised me!
3. Muir Woods
Probably one of the most memorable places I went was Muir Woods. Just outside San Francisco lies this incredible gem, where you feel like you’re in a fairy tale! Can you spot the fairies?!
2. Male orangutan from San Diego Zoo
Yet another of the many sweet creatures I met along the west coast was this male orangutan from the San Diego Zoo. He was so curious and gave the sense of a wise old man.
1. Yosemite’s El Capitan
I was completely blown away by how many likes this photo received, it is also my most liked photo overall. Behold, the majesty of Yosemite National Park’s El Capitan!
