Savour Stratford – An Adventure for the Palate

Stratford is so much more than a theatre and arts town. With Savour Stratford you will dine, drink, and partake in a wealth of delicious treats. While being situated in the heart of Ontario’s prime farming areas, Stratford leans heavily on using local produce and meat. And Stratford has developed a creative and fun way to enjoy the best the town has to offer. Hop on one of their ‘trails’ for an adventure for the palate.

Keystone Alley lunch

Stratford is a treasure trove of unique, international, and truly local places to drink and dine. For a great lunch on charming alley patio, Keystone Alley is your spot for supporting local and sustainable food. From mouth-watering Indian food at Raja Fine Indian Cuisine to delicious seasonal inspired menus at The Mill Stone, you’ll certainly want to extend your visit so you can enjoy as many of its great restaurants as you can. And being surrounded by some of Ontario’s best farmlands makes using locally grown ingredients that much more accessible and brings Stratford’s food scene to a whole other level.

Savour Stratford Trails

But by far the best way to explore and try the best that Stratford has to offer is with their “trails”. Savour Stratford runs four different “trails” all year to choose from. Pick up your trail pass from Stratford Tourism Alliance, located at 47 Downie Street, or online. With your trail pass you receive a brochure marking all of the participating locations, their address and what they offer, along with vouchers. The vouchers are used to exchange for unique items that each location is offering. The trick is choosing a handful of the numerous locations.
