My Experience Attending a Kempenfelt Players Theatre Performance

Seeing The Addams Family musical was a delightful experience that perfectly captured the quirky essence of this beloved family. From the eerie set design to the catchy tunes, every aspect of the production transported the audience into the spooky yet endearing world of the Addams clan.

The cast’s performances were stellar, with each actor embodying their character with enthusiasm and precision.

Stand outs included Wednesday Addams who embodied the moody, rebellious teen with every muscle of her body. The actor playing Gomez carried the accent through each song.

Lurch was phenomenal! At times stealing the scene with his impeccable facial expressions that spoke volumes in spite of his wordless dialogue.

The musical numbers were a highlight, blending dark humor with toe-tapping melodies that had the whole audience literally snapping their fingers along.

I was surprised by how incredibly funny the show was! From quirky faces to hidden quips, I was laughing out loud throughout the show.

Despite its eerie themes, the show ultimately celebrates the importance of family and acceptance, making it a perfect choice for both fans of the original cartoons and newcomers alike. Overall, The Addams Family musical is a wickedly entertaining theatrical experience that leaves you snapping for more!
